Subject: Great show!
I brought my folks to this one... or better yet, they showed up more than half way through the first set. I didn't really gel with the music this night, since I was a bit pre-occupied.

Nonetheless, the band was in a jamming mood. Nothing over-the-top, but everything stretched a bit.

Notables include the Playin' Reprise intro into the Playing in the Band verses, and great free-fall space moment into Uncle Johns (a concept which materialized fully at the end of Dark Star 9.22), and a great 3 or 4 minute jam out of space that hints at '72 style jamming, never stating a theme to make it connected to playin or another tune.

Adventurous, maybe long-winded. This is the band seeking its jazzier roots. Do they arrive on this night? That's up to you to decide. Nonetheless, Jerry does sound particularly tired in the latter part of the show.
